This is one of the songs by one of my favourite musicians, Jim Reeves.
I'm sure some old timers over here who love country music know Gentleman Jim, a great musician.
This song's one of the songs which lifts my spirits up every time I hear it.
It makes me trust more in God, especially when I feel down.
Humans, we are weak in everything and get weaker when we feel this life has gotten the better of us. We feel down when we lose jobs or loved ones, when we get sick, when we lose relationships, etc.
These "disasters" that come into our lives are nothing new to us, but because of how they happen every time, they seem new and the emotions are always fresh for us.
We ask ourselves or God a lot of questions which get no answers.
We compare ourselves to the lives of others and wonder what we did wrong, why are they thriving but we keep falling or failing.
We simply forget about what God has done for us before and we ignore the fact that He is the almighty and can do it again for us again and again only if we seek Him.

Other times, we feel we are so drenched in sin to the extent that there's no way out:; we think our sins are so huge that God can't redeem us.
It has actually happened to me before. You get deep in a particular sin so much that you don't feel any guilt anymore when you sin.
We always wonder if God will actually listen to our prayers again or will ever forgive us.
But Jim here is trying to tell us, it is no secret what God can do.
We've known this God for a very long time and honestly, He never disappoints, and I'm speaking from experience.
It may look like God has disappointed you sometime, but you only realise it was a plan afterall.
We should always trust the Lord. He has done it for others, he's doing it for others, so why won't he do it for you? He certainly will, at the right time, if you ask Him.
Let's not think we are not getting the help we seek because we are sinners who have crossed every line, no!
Those who are getting the help are no better than you in any way, they are also sinners, just like you and I, think about it that way.
Just understand that it is not your time yet. As time goes on, God will turn His eyes upon you one day and you'll know His true grace and mercy.
Never give up and be patient in the Lord.
He has done for others and He will do for you too. You're His child too.
