I want my freedom, those were the words fifteen years old Renee told her parents because she was restricted from going out for night clubbing with her friends.
Renee is fifteen years old girl who feels that she is caged because she is not given the liberty of doing things she wished to do and the time she wishes to do them. Although her parents gave her the freedom to do things that is good and seemed good enough for a fifteen-year-old girl, she was limited as they felt she was not mature enough to be given the freedom to take care of herself.

But currently, she asked for her freedom and her parents have decided to give it to her without restrictions as it seems Renee feels her parents hate her for limiting her not to participate in a few things she had wished to participate in. Her parents do not want her to hate them for the good things they were doing and decided to let her live her life.
One month later, Renee comes running into her parent's room and asking them for forgiveness because she has realized that indeed her parents never meant harm but good when they limited her freedom of movement.
Her parents were happy that they were able to teach her what they wanted her to learn without hating them.
Renee learned that freedom means more responsibilities and realized she wasn't mature enough for that responsibility. She also learned that freedom comes with a price which has to do with taking responsibility for every action one makes.
It's in human nature to always need freedom or fight for their freedom but let us always realize that freedom comes with a price and unless we are ready to pay the price, we should stay or remain under the mentorship or the guardianship of whomever we are under because most cages are not cage they are only ways God is using to protect us from the harm that is supposed to befall us.
Happy new month everyone.
