Rely on the Grace of God on daily basis: It takes the special grace of God to rescue people from complacency. Never get to the point where the Holy Spirit cannot warn you over sins looming around you and your decisions. The Holy Spirit does not condemn you and at the same time, those not condone sin. But rather convicts us of our sins, so we can quickly repent from them and forsake them completely.

Develop passion to know God experiencially: Our salvation experience is a door way into deeper and greater realities in God. It is to the benefit of the devil to see believers not steping into realities with God though he has lost them into God's kingdom.

He can fight to see that Christian's are passionless for God and His kingdom, hence making complacency inevitable in many lives. Our passion for God, His word, prayer and intimacy with the Holy Spirit is a sign of been alive in the Spirit. Complacency leads to death, but passion can resurrect it.

Be led by the Holy Spirit: Another dimension most Christian's get to and are satisfied is when they receive the Holy Spirit. They feel they have gotten to the zenith of encounters with God.

The Holy Spirit is responsible to help us encounter God. He is responsible to reveal the word of God to us in reality. Why are many filled with the Holy Spirit yet complacent? Because they are not led by the Holy Spirit. The Bible said, he Leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalm 23: 3b.

So the Holy Spirit cannot lead into complacency. The Holy Spirit cannot manifest it's full capacity when we are in defiant to His leading. So we must be humble enough to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, for the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.

The Ministry of Prayer: The errornous teaching on prayer gave rise to Spiritual complacency. Many believe that prayer is made for pastors or those in need. Some believe that once you are sufficient, then you don't need prayer, hence the devil makes Christian's complacent.

Prayer is beyond supplication and petition, it is a Spiritual system, designed by God to keep the believer always passionate about God. It is a system propanded from the portals of Zion giving man the privilege to talk to the immortals in communion.

Prayer is the place where intimacy with God is established. Prayer is deep, it is a system by which our countenance are changed. "And the fashion of his countenance was altered as he prayed" Luke 9:29. For men ought always to pray and not to faint. Luke 18:1. Prayer helps kill complacency.

The Ministry of the Word: The word of God is like a mirror. Every time we approach the word, we are changed and transformed into the image of His son from glory to glory. The more worded we are, the less complacent we become.

"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15.

The word of God has potency in dislodging every complacency in us. The word of God has power to give us life. Jesus said "the words I have spoken unto you, they are spirit and they are life. John 6:63.

The word of God reveals to us greater possibilities and dimensions we need to get in God. So the more you see it in the word, the faster the Holy Spirit stirs your heart to corporate with Him in bringing it to pass. What you see in the word, you cease and become. Study the word today with an open heart.
