Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

.
My devotion today has focused on the trust that we must put in the Lord, certainly today the economic difficulties caused by voracious inflation, loss of jobs, hunger in various parts of the world (and even next to our homes), we It leads us to think that we can do nothing. However, as believers our hope and assurance that these calamities can be alleviated, certainly God in his mercy has the answers.

We see that not even the rulers of the nations, or the mayors of our cities can give a precise and effective answer to the solution of the problems. That is why, with a renewed heart and knowing the love of the Father for his children, we must raise our prayers and give praise and thanks at all times and in all places to the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, who will watch over the needs of each one. and can answer our requests. This is how the prophet Jeremias expresses it in [Jeremiah 17: 7-8]:

7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”

Jesus, good man who in his public ministry brought to his people the news of the good news of God, he left us the message of friendship and love of the Father, in which men must always trust. Despite this, he came to fulfill the will of his Father, and not being understood by the leaders and rulers of the time, he was subjected to an unjust trial, being tortured and nailed, humiliated, to the tree of the cross where he died. His death has paid with his life and his blood for the sins and follies of humanity. In testimony of God's mercy he was raised from the dead on the third day, this being our Faith and hope that has given us a new birth through our baptism in which we receive the holy fire of the Holy Spirit, which comforts and gives us trust in the promises announced by Jesus and the prophets from God. Amen
