39 In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a city of Judah, 40 and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. 41 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42 and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43 And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. 45 And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” Luke 1:39-45
Reflection

In the Gospel of Apostle Luke, the event of the visit of Mary to Elizabeth is described [Luke 1:39-45]. At that time Elizabeth had been blessed in waiting for her firstborn, she received the joy of greeting Maria, the child who expected jumping on her belly, the living presence of the Lord already in Mary that she conceived by work and grace of the Holy Spirit, full of joy to both women. Being that Elizabeth declared Maria Blessed by the Lord having accepted the promise that God had done to the people of Israel, that a virgin conceived a son of her.
Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a signal: Behold, a Virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Emmanuel [Isaiah 7:14].
Meaning in our life
.
The visit of Maria to Isabel must be filled with joy since it is a manifestation of God's love for humanity. The presence of jesus resurrected in our life must be in turn manifested in each one of us as we must reflect the joy of that great moment lived by Maria and Elizabeth having been graceful by the Lord.
This passage also communicates the importance of life that must be respected since a pregnant woman is graceful waiting for the descendant of her.
Keeping in our feeling the visit of Maria to Elizabeth allows us to value and trust in the promises of God, who gave his unique Son Jesus in a cross for the redemption of our sins and those of humanity, expressing with his resurrection the promise of Eternal life to those of their children who accept Jesus as their Savior and Redeemer.
