Read: Romans 1:8-17
'I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes (v. 16 NKJV)
The gospel is the only "tonic" for salvation. Believe it and you are saved through Christ. It is the most precious of the massage you can pass to humanity. It is not a philosophy or historical analysis of events, but a massage of life and hope found in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Why then should any Christian be ashamed to be the purveyor or transmitter of the blessings and freedom to humanity?
Every Christian is equiped to pass this massage onto others. Don't be the last bus stop of the movement of the gospel you have received. Why should unbelievers around you perish because you are with holding the gospel, the most important Massage they need, from you? You are very vocal talking politics, business, sports, traditions and other vulgar things but mute when it concerns the gospel. What then is your relevance to Christ on this earth?
NOTE (v.8-12): We must mutually encourage one another by our faith, no matter how spiritual that you may be. By your growth in faith people around you will appreciate your love and respect for Christ.
We must also pray for one another, especially concerning our various needs and exchange visit to one another regularly to strengthen each other with spiritual gifts. No one is an island In God's kingdom but must belong to a church fellowship.
NOTE (v. 13-17): preaching the gospel is compulsory for every Christian to reach every group and class of people without discrimination. It is unfair to remain silent while people are preaching. Don't be ashamed to declare the power of God's salvation to close neighbours to believe and be saved. The gospel is for all and must be received by faith in Christ.
Everything about Christianity is a matter of faith, don't forget the just shall live by faith.
