Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name because you have done wonders. Since ancient times your plans are faithful and safe. Isaiah 25:1
God has always wanted us to praise him with all our hearts, that's why Jesus told us again to praise with all our hearts, with all our souls and with all our being, being very easy when everything is fine, but what would we do if things are happening? a test?
In Psalm 115 we can see 18 verses that tell us about the comparison between God and idols, indicating that idols cannot speak, see, hear, walk, they have no life or power, even if they are made of gold or silver.
The Bible teaches us that God abhors idolatry.
Idolatry is Deeply Hated by God, Exodus 20:3-6 teaches us the following:
We will have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image or likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth below, or that is in the waters under the earth. You will not bow down to them, nor honor them; For I am the Lord your God, strong and jealous, punishing the wickedness of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, and I have mercy on thousands, those who love me and keep my commandments.
We must be very careful with the one that Enlarges and Idolaters Man, Woman, Objects, Things and Attributes, the Ovation that Belongs Exclusively to the God who Created us in Praise of His Glory.
Therefore, let us not think that we can use God as a lucky charm.
In the morning tell me of your great love,
Because I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go
Because I lift my soul to you. "Psalms 143:8
Going through moments of uncertainty is not pleasant, being in the position of not knowing what will happen usually generates feelings of doubt.
Knowing which way to go, what action to take, what offer to accept and reject, possibly the results of the decisions made? They are usually the questions that arise from moments of uncertainty of criteria.
There is a biblical portion that we can find in Jeremiah 29:11 that says the following:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans for well-being and not for calamity, to give you a future and hope."
Reading that hopeful statement generates an inner peace that dispels the fear of tomorrow.
There are characters who have left us very good examples in the bible in praise and in the desert there is the case of moses and abraham who had a close relationship with god, their experiences being reflected in the bible, having health or not, they praised God with everything his being.
