How prepared is Nigeria with school resumption?
The Association of Private Schools in their meeting has shown their concern concerning the situation and challenges facing Nigeria children during this pandemic.
One the headline of many news today are the announcement from the federal government that schools will resume this coming Monday.
As the news narrates, Nigeria will start with the senior students first. I guess that the reason behind their decisions is not to allow junior students who may not yet be able to apply all the preventative measures to fall victims.
We are soliciting to the government to provide schools with things that will help our children to remain safe like hand gloves, water, sanitizers, buckets etc.
Up till now, the above mentioned are not yet in place.
Our school system needs attention from all levels of the government, it’s the right time to take our school system from its blurry state to the brighter side.
We at Glorious Kids Academy are also preparing to resume our school session, but in our own case, we’re not waiting on the government for anything. We’ve gone ahead in proper arrangements which includes fumigating of our surroundings, providing water for the pupils and other hand washing items.
Hope we’ll also get some support from you.
