Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In the world systen, a lot of things happen at the same time and it is easy to be distracted by these events.
When man is overwhemed, he begin to live his life in a way that suits the dictates of the world system. For example, telling lies, immorality, dishonesty, deception, violence and other vices becomes normal to him.
It is at this juncture that the Holy Spirit reminds the believers that we are just in the world physically but we are not spiritually related with the systems thereof.
We must eschew the evil of this world and remain sanctified, meet for the Master's use.
We must remain vessels unto honour and destroy the desires to be like the world.
Our identity in Christ is too precious to lose in exchange to cheap popularity and riches that comes with sorrow.
Let us continue to renew our minds daily, that we may get rid of the junks thrown to us daily by this age.
Let us purify our hearts and be occupied by the dealings of Divinity, thus giving no place to the devil.
The time to remain spotless is now.
Let's pray together.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the grace to stand in your word till date. Please deliver us from entanglement with the world system and help us to remain spotless till the end, in Jesus name. Amen.
