Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
Circumcision means to be separated or set aside for special use. It's God's way of differentiating the saved from the unsaved, the holy from the unholy or the sons from bastards.
Today, the Holy Spirit reminds us of who we are: the sanctified vessels unto God.
We are bought out from the world to become worshipers of God, not just in truth, but also in spirit.
God is a spirit and He's truth. This should appeal to our hearts through the midst of the storms.
We have the backing of the Almighty God, provided we continue in our primary assignment on earth: worship.
Don't stop worshipping because the miracle didn't come. Don't be overwhelmed by the happenings around that you forget the reason of your physical existence.
The success you pursue will be wasted by another when you are gone, but nobody can take your worship. It's an eternal, intimate connection with Divinity.
As you worship, rejoice. Find something to be grateful to God for.
Remove your eyes from the perishing pleasures of this world, stay in oneness with Christ. Abide in Him till the end.
Let's pray together.
Abba Father, thank you for choosing us to be yours for ever. In this dying world, please help us to remain effective worshippers of you till eternity, in Jesus name. Amen.
