Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
God is elected us through redemption in Christ Jesus. We are separated unto Him for everlasting mandate.
Today, the Holy Spirit, through our gospel, speaks expressly to direct the elect in such a time as this.
We have enjoyed the love and mercy of God, thus we are to give back to the kingdom by putting on the very nature of God. This will be evidenced in the attitude of mercy towards people, kindness, humility of the mind, meekness and long-suffering.
We must take a stand and allow the Holy Spirit to ride on us to execute God's plan of bringing in more people into the kingdom through us. This is only possible if the elect are living by the instructions given today.
Brethren, how long can we remain faithful, merciful, kind-hearted and humble in the midst of chaos and continuous challenges?
God expects us to remain steadfast, that the world may be inspired by us and come into light.
Put on the bowels today and never look back. For he that puts his hands on the plough and look back is not worthy of the Master.
Let's pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your timely instructions to us. Please give us the grace to live by your standard, in Jesus name. Amen.
