1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
To wait for someone means to consciously prepare to meet the person. It's very important because how long we wait depends on how much value we place on who we're waiting for.
Jesus Christ shall come back the second time, not for a careless, sinful world but a prepared, righteous and spotless followers of Christ. He will come to separate His own from the world. He'll come to deliver from tribulations and give us eternal life. Are you waiting for Him?
He was raised into glory! Hallelujah! Jesus conquered sin, death, afflictions or bondage. He's the only Savior from the wrath to come. Anyone without Christ at His return shall perish. Run to Jesus now before it's too late.
Let's pray together.
Thank you Lord for your mercy and grace to wait on you lo all these years. Please help us to wait on you, strengthen us to remain steadfast to you, in Jesus name. Amen.
