Matthew 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
The Master made him in charge of others and though he was a servant too, he had the authority to command others to obey him.
Instead of using love to rule, he used arrogance and pride, thus humiliating his fellow servants.
But the day the Master returned was not announced, for by surprise, the Master arrived. He had no more opportunity to change the things he had spoilt.
The hatred he had started among servants, the hunger, the lack of trust and the confusion he had activated in the lives of people he was called to lead was irreversible.
The Master terminated his appointment with Himself. He was terminated from eternity with the Master.
Are you doing what the Master called you to do? Are you leading in love? Are people coming to Christ because of you or are they running away because of you?
Search your life today, for the Master shall come when you never expected.
Be intentionally committed to the good works, for there are rewards awaiting us when the Master returns.
Let's pray together
Dear Heavenly Father and Master of all, thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Please help us to be committed to your will till the end,in Jesus name. Amen.
