Romans 12: 13-14
God commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves. And this does not only mean saying hello when we see you or saying good morning, afternoon or evening. But let us be of help to them, let us be the light they need in moments of darkness, let us be the consolation in moments of sadness, let us be the encouragement in moments of discouragement, let us be that help in the necessary moment that they can see in us the reflection of our Lord Jesus of our Master is where the Grace of God that is in us is reflected to our neighbor.
Perhaps those thoughts come that tell us: What do we gain by doing it? Why do I have to help them, if there are many who are bad? Many of them don't like to help and I do? But let us bear in mind that whatever we do here on earth is not for men but for God, this is part of obedience to Our Father God, and yes, many of us continue to give our help to others, the blessings of God living for Him and obedience to God rewards a lot. There is a saying that says: do good without looking at who, this saying is very true, it is like what God teaches and expects us to do, everything we do here we do with love and for God you will see that later God will surprise you with great blessings
And although we do not believe it and we do not see it instantly, those people to whom you gave your help will be transformed into God, it is a way of leaving a seed sown in our neighbor, they will see the light of God in us and they will want to have that light too. So do not let those bad thoughts hinder your blessing and the moment that God has to bless and sow his love in others because this is God's work and we only do the work in obedience and love.
This is what we must always transmit around us, if we are children of God, we must be cheerful, lively people and always be there to help. Because a child of God cannot live in sadness, discouragement and loneliness and without the will to help others, God lives in each one of us, his light is always on and his grace in us and that is what must be transmitted through a help, support, a word of encouragement, a smile, a hug, a detail, for others who need it.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Of grace they have received; give of grace.
