Greetings dear brothers and may God bless you greatly, today we were receiving teaching by Pastor Emiro Jota who was invited to preach to our church and shared the topic of preaching based on Genesis 22.

Genesis chapter 22 1-8 Reina-Valera Version
1 It happened after these things, that God tried Abraham, and said to him: Abraham. And he answered: Here I am. 2 And he said, Take now your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that I will tell you about. 3 And Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and took two of his servants with him, and Isaac his son; and he cut wood for the burnt offering, and got up, and went to the place that God told him. 4 On the third day Abraham raised his eyes from him, and saw the place from afar. 5 Then Abraham said to his servants: Wait here with the donkey, and I and the boy will go there and worship, and we will return to you. 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took the fire and the knife in his hand; and they both went together. 7 Then Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he answered: Here I am, my son. And he said: Behold the fire and the wood; but where is the lamb for the burnt offering? 8 And Abraham answered: God will provide himself with a lamb for a burnt offering, my son. And they went together.

Actually this passage tells us about another reality that is not the main teaching of provision but rather tells the story of Abraham's obedience to God when he went to offer Isaac, in the middle of the whole process there are details that are important such as carrying all the implements to carry out the holocaust.

A very important detail is that there were 3 days of the whole process and that time it took to leave I suppose that Abraham must have thought a lot about his decision, however the book of Hebrews says that he obeyed God because he was convinced that God could raise his son even from the ashes.

During the passage of the text we observe that God is always in control, in every sense and the pastor said in the morning that God blesses, provides when we have confidence but that it materializes in obedience, during this narrative Isaac tells his father as soon as to the preparation of the holocaust and says: where is the ram? His father replies that Jehovah will provide.

Dear friends, in this story of obedience an unprecedented fact is shown, at the moment of the sacrifice and with his son in sight to be sacrificed suddenly an Angel of God appears who tells Abraham to stop and when they looked to one side , there was a perfect calf that Jehovah had sent for the sacrifice.

Our God is going to act when we obey him, because he is the rewarder of those who seek him and those who obey him, faith acts by obeying the order of the Lord who knows why he does things, he has his ideal plan for destiny with a Time of duration and that we must know that we must find.

We all have situations to solve but we also have a God who helps in our needs and if we really cry out for him he does not reject us because he is attentive to his children.
God bless you greatly
