Matthew 6: 2-4
New Living Translation
"2 When you give to someone in need, do not do what hypocrites who blow the trumpet in synagogues and on the streets do to call attention to their acts of charity. I tell you the truth, they will receive no other reward than that. 3 But you, when you give to someone in need, your left hand does not know what your right hand does. 4 Give your help in private, and your Father, who sees all, will reward you. "
Greetings friends of steemit, this time I want to share a brief reflection on this biblical passage, hoping that it will be a blessing and help for everyone.
In life we usually look for recognition because when we receive them we feel satisfied, we want people's applause, words of affirmation and recognition, however, when we do something good for our neighbor we should not look for people to applaud us for the good what have we done.
The bible teaches us that it is better to wait for God to reward us and to do things in silence and simplicity is much better than pride in being able to achieve or do a lot.
Let us be Humble and Simple, always trusting that our reward is best when it comes from heaven.
