Going through difficult times is what is most difficult for human beings, enduring while help arrives is a real challenge, and it is the point where many get stuck. We cannot avoid those hard moments but we can avoid spiritual fall.
If we go through these hard times and focus only on it and not on God's help that will come at the right time, if we stop looking at it as a process that is necessary to live for a while, and see it as our end, then we are welcoming a spiritual numbness that will cause us to stagnate and spend more time there than we should.
It is then when God must use people around us to lift us up, and we sport what the bible says that we should not stop congregating, because it is very easy to fall spiritually when you notify it, it does not happen as we expect, and it is those friends, companions, brothers, the that God uses to lift us up.
Spiritual falls are those in which we feel dejected, where we no longer find the strength to pray, and although we approach God, we cannot even utter a word. But even there in that situation God is also there and wants to lift us up, help us.
