WE WON'T DO LESS

God has commissioned us for something great. It will not be fair to fall below standard.
When Christ walked the face of the Earth,He was all over leaving indelible marks all around. The Bible records how Jesus Christ was annointed and went about doing good. We as God's children who have been given power shouldn't do less.

It therefore means those things Jesus couldn't achieve due to time frame and certain limitation in form of movement and others should be achieved by us. Jesus could not reached the whole world at a time because He came in form of a man and need to travel all the way like man would,He was even hungry, thirsty, experienced tiredness and all forms of feelings associated with human but still fulfil His mandate and before He left,He commissioned everyone of us to go out and continue what He has started.

There was a need for Jesus to have disciple and the sole aim is for continuity. Let's take for example,a great man who decides to keep all he knows about a particular skill to himself till he dies has done the world no good because these knowledge are naturally meant to be replicated so that the trend can continue, the knowledge is not needed in the grave This is exactly what Jesus did,He walked with a very close 12 which He directly mentored so that they could replicate what He was doing, mentor others too and even do more than He did because it was obvious He won't be staying very long with them.

It will therefore be unfair if those He took His time to mentore fail in the assignment handed over to them. This also means if the disciples fail to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, open the eyes of the blind, heal the cripple preach the good news and do other things that even Jesus their master didn't do,then they are doing less already and this is contrary to the mandate of the "greater works" He has given to us who are also His chosen disciple.

In the process of doing greater works,I must tell you that challenges will show up on the way that might want to discourage you from forging ahead. These challenges sometimes are targeted towards you directly, you know the devil doesn't like it when you're depopulating his kingdom and increasing the kingdom of God with your tenacious attitude.

Another thing the devil does is to bring frustration, this arises from the things you expect to happen that didn't happen or things you actually expect to work out but turned out to fail,it's part of the devils strategy to make you give up.
God has promises that He will be doing do much with your life, don't allow that momentary frustration to deny you of eternal glory. Give no room to the devil even in your thought.

Doing nothing less for the sake of the kingdom is key and it makes God very happy because that would have been Jesus' regular activities day in day out if He was allowed to spend more years on earth. Following His example is what we should be very serious about. We won't do more if we don't study how He himself walked the face of the earth because we're in the world presently but not of this world.

Make Jesus proud today in all you do especially in the area of reaching out to souls that are perishing, Jesus was intentional about saving the sinners and that was why He gave us the parable of the lost sheep,He showed how caring He was for that one that wandered away, and went in search of it leaving the ninety-nine. If we are not ready to do things like this then we are not ready to do more but less.

Dare to go greater things for the sake of the kingdom.

I call you blessed.

No, God hasn't commissioned everyone to do something great. We know Jesus did great things but we lack his godhood, his knowledge of God's will, and his ability to perform miracles.

I'm 62. I believe God has called me to confront false teaching online when I find it. And to share Christ when I can. It isn't much but I do it. We should be doing whatever God has called us to do. Especially now when the Rapture could be coming soon.

Thank you so much for you submission sir.

I am one with God, a joint heir with Christ and His will for me is revealed and not hidden,He has also commissioned me and every other believer that sees from this stand point for greater works according to John 14:12.

" 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

It really depends on the way you see it.Thanks once again for dropping by.
