Word from Golden Censer
But, “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. [2 Corinthians 10:17-18 NIV]
Glad to interact with Golden Censer at our church at Telos.
The word is in on boasting. The world without God is known for boasting and pride which they glory on their worldly achievements and ranking.
But for the chosen, they do not glory like the world because they know that it’s not of he that wills nor runs, but of God that shows mercy.
Boasting in God means giving glory to God who through his eternal mercy has called the saints to partake of his divine nature; imputing his righteousness in them that are saved.
When someone boast in the Lord, the Lord is seen and glorified, such individual is not seen because he now lives on the faith of Christ who loved him and gave his life for his sake.
