Let me quickly show you two things.
GOD sent Moses on an assignment to deliver the Israelites.

In Exodus 4:10, he complains of how he talks.
GOD responded that HE is the one that made the mouth.
Moses didn't ask for healing. GOD didn't grant him the healing either. 😂
That place is always funny to me.

I know Moses complained because he didn't really want to go... Still, he should have asked for healing, but he didn't.
The Elder brother of the lost son in Luke 15:28 had the same encounter.
HE worked with his father.
HE served his father.
He Was faithful.

But didn't even know that all his father had was his.
All he needed to do, was to ask.
My point?
We are fond of going to Church, attending programs, prayer meetings and all... With no expectations at all.

The fact you have a request, the fact you have an expectation, is faith - The believe that HE will answer you.
Stop going for meetings with no expectations.
And I'm not just talking about material needs alone.
If not eh, you will find out that you have served faithfully for years... And you have remained the same.

No growth, nothing.
Just maybe.... attendance.
How can Moses finish speaking with GOD and not see the opportunity to ask that he starts speaking well?

How can the elder brother of the once-lost guy, not know that he has an inheritance with his father, all he needed to do, was just to ask?

When next you go for a meeting or a service, have an expectation!

And expectations!

For he that asks, receives.
