Philippians 3:12-14; Not that I have already gained all this, or have already gotten my goal, but I keep on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brethren, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do is letting go what is behind and moving toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to achieve what God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
The kingdom of God suffered violence indeed. Almost everywhere you pass you will hear one thing or the other about how the end is nigh and that crisis are bound to worsen and that the end days prophecies are what is coming to past. Many have been called yet few are chosen? We all started the same race but some will not complete it and others may slack and not achieve in the due time that was stipulated for them because they will allow the devil to sway them. The world we live in not merely a physical interaction but a direct inference of the spiritual too. Which is why the Scriptures made us away that we battle not against the flesh but principalities etc.
Yes, the Lord will not let temptations and troubles we cannot overcome come upon us but there is one thing that is demanded of us even as we read our scriptures and try to put everything stipulated by the bible into action and that is to have determination. Our will power to succeed, our determination to succeed and reach the end of the line is sometimes all that is need. The Devil will fight you and you cannot afford to give up cause the darkness is heavy the most when dawn is nigh. Persist and know that your hardwork will not be in vain. There is a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
