SELF LABELLED INADEQUACIES

God does not see you weak, He sees you strong because, “Of His fullness have all we received, and grace for grace” John 1:16. God sees you in the light of what the finished work of Christ has made out of you: “But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption” 1 Corinthians 1:30.

What you feel of yourself and ability notwithstanding; what Jesus has been made to become unto you is the propeller you have for your path. On our own we can do nothing; we live and walk in Him – “For in Him we live and move, and have our being” Acts 17:28. It’s all as a result of who we are in Him and not at all of who we are in ourselves: For “we are not sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God” 2 Corinthians 3:5.

Jesus substitutes for our inadequacies. We enjoy the grace of undiluted sufficiency in Christ and one good you can do for yourself is to free yourself from the trap of self labeled inadequacies. They are self labeled; because God does not see you that way. He sees you in the “regalia” of His Son Jesus and He sees you full of strength because you are strengthened with might by His Spirit in your inner man.

It’s all the work of His grace, look beyond your capabilities and look into the provisions of God’s grace. Your capability for all things is through the strength God gives: For “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:13.

The more of yourself you see; the more incapable you feel. The moment you begin to see yourself in Christ, it turns out to be a new dawn. It’s who you are in Christ, it’s all about the Holy Spirit that has made your heart His habitation. Free yourself from the trap of self labeled inadequacies: you can do all things through Christ Who supplies the needed strength. God’s Word promises; that, as your day so shall your strength He provides. Never you say you can’t; because, through God’s divine supplies, you can.
