Many Christians in our local churches are still in doubt whether they are saved or not even after meeting all the demands for their salvation as recorded in the Bible. Such Christians are walking by their feelings because they want to feel somehow before they will believe what God has promised in His Word.
If indeed you have decided to turn away from your sins, from practices, sinful desire of the flesh and from worldly system of godless living and have totally yielded your life over to God through repentance, then you are saved. The means of salvation is not hidden from us for God has plainly stated how one can be saved in His Word for example the book of Jn. 1:12-13.
