Worship is the most important part of any meeting with God. A good voice is not the qualification to be a worship leader. There is a difference between a talented singer and an anointed one – which are you? Anyone who is not baptised in the Holy Ghost should not be in the choir.
While the presence of God is felt when some singers get on the stage and miracles happen, others do so without the same results because they have not connected with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ said it is the Holy Spirit who would glorify Him. Worshippers are supposed to glorify God and it takes the Holy Spirit to do this.
When next you are writing a song, remember that the letter kills but the Spirit makes alive
If you are a chorister, seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Our spirits are lifted when singing hymns and choruses – not because they were written by angels but by people who were filled with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit breathed on them and they wrote what He inspired them to write. The Spirit never dies, that is why hymns are evergreen.
Worship is like food to God: let us be very careful with the kind of food we bring to His table.
God made voices and hands before musical instruments. If that is the only pure thing you have to offer Him, He is fine with it. If there are no instrumentalists, we have a ten- stringed instrument provided by God – our hands.
