One virtue lacking in this generation of believers is contentment and this affects righteous living as well. Sadly, a lot of believers these days are living in a consistent state of dissatisfaction. The word of God says no amount of money can place people who love riches.

Moreover, the more possession you get, the more responsibility you have to make sure they are in good shape. A lot of rich people can't sleep well in the light of the fact that they are too conscious of those who might steal from them. I'm very sure you can point to many people who are making themselves rich dubiously, acquiring ill-gotten wealth. Some people steal from the treasury of their nations, moving away billions into foreign bank accounts.

What good have these huge amounts of money done to their physical bodies, let alone their souls? It is pure vexation of the spirit. However, a worker who has contentment often has a good appetite to eat the good food available and also sleeps like a baby after the day's work, whereas the rich fellow without satisfaction won't sleep thinking of how to get more money and what to do to keep it.

This is the reason that kind of people are very stingy suspecting everyone around them to be a cheat. A fellow who is pleased with what he or she has is the richest person in the entire world. You can become pleased if you are godly and to be godly is to obey what is written in the word of God. It is good to have a dream, to want huge and good things for yourself but be very careful not to desire worldly possession at the expense of your spiritual growth.
