A lot of people don't know that the Lord always has substitutes for the people He appoints for one assignment or the other. The Almighty God can not be held responsible for any matter or event. This is why the Lord always provides alternatives. When a Christian becomes swollen-headed and the person starts to disobey Him in things like evangelism, tithing, offering, payment of first fruit, and so on, such a person is heading to a replacement state.
The betrayal of the Lord Jesus by Judas Iscariot was foretold in Psalms 41:9. So, before Judas Iscariot decided to be a betrayer, the Lord had already seen it. The Bible let us know that Matthias was selected to replace Judas. My prayer for you is that you will never be replaced by God in Kingdom projects, in the mighty name Jesus.
Another important lesson we can learn from this as a believer is that whenever a way appears blocked, the Almighty God has more than a thousand alternative ways to replace it.
Learning from what King Saul and Judas Iscariot experienced, we must also be very careful about the way we guide our lives so that what they experience may not happen to us. The Lord has substitutes for any Christian who wouldn't be law-abiding. Let us in this manner, be tired of doing what would make the Lord substitute us with someone else.
