SPIRITUAL FOOD 4 THOUGHT - YOU Do NOT Have a Biblical Foundation To Your Faith

Also, to answer your question from Acts, you'll need to back up. What did they tell the gentile believers? Hmmm.... let's see
"Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day."" (Acts 15:19-21

They said start by:

  • abstain from pollutions of idols
  • and from fornication
  • and from things strangled
  • and from blood.

Then they said Moses is read every Sabbath...

Basically, start here, and then learn more. Do you think people who show up at church understand it all instantly? No, they learn over time, as they continue to read the word of God. That's the same thing the early church did, but without rejecting God's laws... "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." (Romans 8:7)

Please don't be a carnal enemy of God by rejecting His laws.

Sort Order:

There's nobody outside of Seventh Day Adventists and JW's the believe we need to observe the Sabbath. And they're cults.

The 10 commandments are part of the entire Jewish Law. You can't just pick the Sabbath out of there unless you're saying we should observe that too.

False. Plenty of people believe in the Sabbath other than SDAs and JWs. For instance, Messianic Jews. Also, me. I am not a SDA or a JW, and I believe that God called the Sabbath holy and told believers to remember and observe it.

Honestly @barncat, you've outdone yourself this time. This is probably the most foolish comment I've ever seen you leave, and you've left a lot of them. So... let's see. Does it work in your mind this way as well?

The 10 commandments are part of the entire Jewish Law. You can't just pick "don't murder" out of there unless you're saying we should observe that too.

The 10 commandments are part of the entire Jewish Law. You can't just pick "do not commit adultery" out of there unless you're saying we should observe that too.

The 10 commandments are part of the entire Jewish Law. You can't just pick "thou shalt not steal" out of there unless you're saying we should observe that too.

See, I believe all 10 of the 10 commandments should be observed and obeyed. In your battle against the Sabbath, you basically said that you don't believe Christians need to obey any of the Ten Commandments. Are you serious? If so, that's the most foolish thing I've ever seen from you.
