Hi friends, Welcome to another beautiful day.
Have you ever seen a meal you've never tried before in your life and you go like "I will just have a taste of it first". Not the whole meal but just a taste of it. Why are you doing that? It's simply because that's your first time having that meal and you are just afraid that the outcome won't be good. But when it turns out good, you then ask for the full meal because now you are confident this is what you need.
Now that's how most of us are with God. We just want to try him out and see if it's worth the hype everyone gives him. And if we try him and things don't go as we want but according to his will, we back out.
Remember, fishes don't try water; they actually need water in order to survive. What about plants? They obviously need the soil inorder to grow. They don't go about saying "they will try the soil".
This is applicable to God as well. As a christian, you don't try God; you need God because there's a void within you only He can fill. God wants to do more than just come into your life; He wants to take over your life! But are you going to let him? Or are you going to try him first.
Either ways, whether you are trying him out first to decide if you really need him or you've already made up your mind that you need him, Just make sure at the end of the day you chose him and you align with him. This is because one way or another, you'll always need God. Peter preached:
Repent, and let every one of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call' Acts 2:38
You may be struggling with certain weaknesses, hence your reasons for doubting if he'll even be able to help you. But I promise he is already aware of all these and just needs you to open up first and he'll take care of the rest.
Have A Wonderful Day
