To teach you that people are not meant to live. None of them.
To teach you that you are alone in this journey. And you should thank passersby who stopped for a moment and made part of your journey easier for you.
To teach you that regardless of your materialistic attachment, life is short, and it will end abruptly, without prior notice. What will last will be just your strength.
Teaching you not to take anything for granted. You will never know where it is going.
To teach you no matter what, the world does not stand for anyone. We are all here to play our part, and we should, and there is no difference in it. You will continue to eat, drink and breathe when your loved ones leave. The same thing will happen when you leave, too. The people you call your family will cry for days, but eventually move on with life. If something happens to you today, and your parents, they will move on, and learn to live without you.
Teaching you not to hold on. None of yours. And to give you hope that everything is temporary; and your pain, and each day, you're near where you finally belong.
