Although the Bible presents us with innumerable wonderful arguments about the promises of God, I particularly love the next verse because it leads me to choose the other promises and blessings of God.
John 1:12
12 But to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

I am the son of God
This verse has no contradiction and is one of the most beautiful that we can read in the word of God, it must always be present in our mind and heart
God's love for us is so great that he does not take into account our rebellions and although we all deserve eternal death, he did not allow it but agreed to his perfect plan to make us call his children.
What great love the father has given us! What a privilege! that we are called children of God but that it is unfortunate that many do not recognize themselves as children but as bastards.
Many people say: we are all children of God and perhaps they are right because we are all his creation, but the Bible shows us that we are not all children and the answer is in the verse quoted because there the author tells us that they are only children who They welcomed him and recognized him as a father.
Not all people believe in God, not all receive him as a father and not all believe in his name and are guided by the spirit, therefore not all are children.
Romans 8: 14-15
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
15 For you have not received the spirit of slavery to be again in fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry out: Abba, Father!

A fundamental characteristic of a true child of God is that he acts according to the fruits of the spirit "For all those who are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God."
Believing in this truth is a great privilege because having the conviction that you are a child of God opens up infinite opportunities for your life since being a child of God is directly accessing the promises of our father.
Let us remember that children enjoy the benefits that our parents have and if we consider ourselves children of God we are going to enjoy everything that the father has without reservation, therefore being a child of God is a blessing
You recite every morning that you are a child of God, believe it and keep it in your heart so that you can walk according to the principles established for you by the Father our eternal creator.
