Matthew 24:1-14 KJV:
"And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you".
(5): "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many".
(6): "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet".
(7): "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places".
(8): "All these are the beginning of sorrows".
Many times, I will sit down and begin to wonder why so much evil and wickedness in the world, and the Almighty God, though has the power to bring the world to an immediate end, still maintains His cool and calmness.
Listen to news channels, nothing encouraging, all we hear is frightening. Go to print media, it is horrible tails of woes here and there.
The Bible says, once the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, goes round the whole world as a witness, then the end will come.
As we speak, nations that once rejected the good news and gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, are inviting Christians and the Church to come and spread the good news about the Lord Jesus to them.
Advancement in technology is also helping in the rapid spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world, such that no one can deny not hearing about the salvation that can only be found in Christ, on that great day of judgement. And as soon as the gospel is heard by everyone as a witness, irrespective of whether they believe it or not, the Bible says the end will come. The Trumpet will sound, and Jesus will return to take the true believers in Him, to glory.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is yet another reminder that Christ's return is imminent. He has made adequate provisions for your redemption through His precious Blood, and you have no excuse or reason to end up your life journey in hell fire.
Today is that one day you have been waiting for, repent of your unbelief and sins and surrender your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, and He will have mercy on you. He will wash away your sins with His precious Blood, save your soul, and write your names in the Lamb's Book of Life. You have again been reminded about the soon return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, you will have only yourself to blame if you refuse to believe the gospel of Christ and end up in hell fire.
