LIFE REFLECTIONS IN TIMES OF CRISIS

The new crisis that is totally impacting surprised the world and obviously it is influencing millions of people who today have transformed life, a situation they never imagined

Does the crisis bring a reflection of life? obviously every crisis brings a teaching accompanied by reflection and it would be very painful if after a crisis human beings remain the same and nothing changes

We must know that crises are not eternal but that each one comes with a life lesson

In this sense I want to share some reflections that I have been meditating as a Christian since I am convinced that nothing happens by chance everything has a purpose from God, although the crisis has not been caused by God because we know that God did not come to kill or destroy on the contrary He came to give life and the Bible does not teach us about viruses because He is not the author of viruses. He is the author of life

We are facing a reality where we are all joining forces to be victorious, however it is not easy since none of us are prepared to face a pandemic like the one we are experiencing

I want to highlight the fact and the actions of the majority of people, if not all of them in their entirety, "the fear" that this has produced in the human being, but I also want to express that everything has a purpose, an end and a victory, since the crises are not forever

PSALMS 30: 5
For a moment his anger will be, But his favor lasts a lifetime. At night the crying will last, And in the morning the joy will come.

In this order of ideas it is important to reflect on why things happen and what teachings are they leaving us? it is necessary that we reflect on the direction of our days and what we have given more importance in the days that God has allowed us to live

I think everyone right now should have an opinion based on their outlook on life. Really in these times of crisis and from my Christian perspective, I have come to value God, my life, that of my family and that of my neighbor, because this pandemic has taught me that the most valuable thing in life is life itself

In the face of so much human loss, we must understand that life is short and that all human beings are fragile, very fragile and therefore we need God

I believe that each of the new things that we are experiencing are giving us a lesson and refreshing our memory and at the same time it is calling us to value the plan of life that God has for each of us but above all that we believe that God is real. and that there is nothing more important than the work of God that we are ourselves

God is calling us to humility and to get rid of pride since we are fragile and susceptible and we do not own anything or anyone, imagine what our state is in the face of this virus! because we are like the grass or the flower both perish in a second when it is attacked the Bible says about them "The grass dries up, the flower withers and falls" this is its natural state and so are you and me.

This crisis has taught me that there is nothing more important than God and life and that no one owns it but only God

In this regard I quote these words so that we understand our current situation said by a poet and that in fact it is true

Crises remind us that we are all fragile and susceptible to getting sick and even dying suddenly. In general, human beings make plans for the future thinking that we are in control of our lives, but a small virus, a microorganism that we cannot even see, is enough to completely alter our routines and destroy our plans. The poet king of the Nahua world, Nezahualcóyotl who lived from 1402-1472 and was the Tlatoani of Texcoco, masterfully described this reality in this poem:
I Nezahualcóyotl ask it:
Do you really live with roots in the ground?
Not forever on earth:
Just a little bit here,
Even if it's jade it breaks,
Even if it is gold it breaks,
Even if it is a quetzal plumage, it tears.
Not forever on earth:
Just a little bit here

In this sense it is worth living life in balance, appreciating it because it is a gift from God and reflecting as we are like the wind that we are today but not tomorrow, but in the context of life it is very valuable to God therefore I must appreciate it and also appreciate that of my neighbor

Life is a gift from God and we are the greatest work of God, and life cannot be below anything or anyone, life is above everything, that is why today we can see many people take shelter and fulfill the confinement at home but we also look with amazement as many people put earthly power like the economy, finances ... above life because I want to tell you that if you have no life you have nothing and the most important thing in this world is to preserve the lives of our families and our fellow men.

This crisis gives us a life lesson about the importance of God in our children, family, society and nation, if we do not have God we are vulnerable to storms and our hearts need to turn to the eternal God who heals, transforms and gives meaning and purpose to our way, without God we are nothing even if we have many goods

This crisis has taught us that the family is irreplaceable and each moment is a glorious opportunity that God gives us to live next to them.

Psalms 27
27 Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom will I fear?
Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
(RVR1960)

God is our refuge and our strength in the midst of tribulations, He gives us strength, firmness, self-control and wisdom in the midst of the process, fills us with faith and trust and puts peace in our hearts

Matthew 11:28
28 Come to me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(RVR1960)

There is rest and peace for those who seek God in the midst of crises

After everything happens surely everyone must learn a teaching, I also know that there will be many wounded hearts but in God we will have rest and hope

We are all called to overcome the crisis, it is worth doing, life is very valuable, our family is the most beautiful thing that God has given us, God gives us strength in the midst of this pandemic, do not stop! that after the storm comes calm and surely we will be better, we will have a better family and a better society because God will be his priority his refuge and strength from today and forever
