SECRET TO GREAT FAVOUR
Good evening brethren, it a great previledge to share this devotion to the parishioners, and I pray that it would change someones life for good.
Let me begin by saying that every person has access to God's favour, but not all will receive and enjoy it in full.
The number one category of people that won't enjoy this God's favour is the category of people that the scripture describes as the "Slothful".
A slothful person is an idle person. A slothful person always disinclined to work. You cannot be slothful and be a good manager of God's favour, grace and blessings. You cannot be slothful and think God will entrust people's destinies and future into your hands. For you to have multiple favour from God and man, you must be diligent in all your doings.
In the book of Proverb ch. 12 vs 19 to 26.
Proverbs 12:19-26 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.

That portion of the scripture makes me to understand that, only the heart that think good and the lips that speaks righteousness shall see God's glory, but a lying tongue shall be condemn.
Example of a diligent person in the Bible was Joseph. Joseph was a diligent slave, as a result, he was placed at the top in Potiphar's house. That was how his story of greatness began. Great grace and favour was in action for Joseph. Because of his diligence, the chains of slavery and imprisonment could not keep him down in a pit.
Note, no pit can be too deep for a diligent person that walks rightly in God's ordinances. When a man is diligent heaven will cause doors of favour to open for him/her.
Never allow Procrastination and Laziness be part of your life.
