TRUST
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me not be put into confusion. (Psalm 71:1, KJV)
In this dispensation, there are many believers who finds themselves in confusion because their trust in God is not solid. Trust is one strong panacea for treating and dealing with confusion. Whenever trust is broken, confusion gets the nod to grow. “But God is not the author of confusion but the author of peace.” (1Corinthians 14:33) The beginning of peace is your trust in the Lord. The author of confusion is a broken trust. You’re not permitted to be confused about your trust until that trust is broken.
Confusion is a proof of breach of trust and confidence in a person. The easiest way to be put to confusion is to put your trust in a wrong person. This is why the devil will keep on throwing difficulties and hardship into your life as a believer. This strategy is to break your trust in God. This strategy will take your attention from God and set it on a man or any other means apart from God.
But if you can be like David who put his trust in the Lord, you will see the glory and peace of God in your life. It may not seem to be working in the beginning but don’t loose hope. Keep on trusting. “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe”. (Proverbs 29:25) Hallelujah.
DECREE
I am not confused or perturbed about my situation. My trust is rooted in God. I’m confidence of his goodness coming my way. Hallelujah!
