  1. “I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
  2. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I WILL SING PRAISE YOUR NAME, O MOST HIGH."
    Psalm 9:1,2 (NKJV)

• David said he will tell about God’s marvellous works.
FOR He has done great and marvelous things (Psalm 9:1).

  • If you can think, you will know how to thank God.
  • When you praise God, you provoke Him to do more of the like of what He has just done in your life.
  • You should always acknowledge God’s goodness in your life.
YOU praise God with your whole heart, and not half-heartedly.
  • Truth: God MAY have not done all you wanted Him to do, however, that which He has done is good.
  • God deserves our thanks and praises.

• In the work of Ministry, your focus should be on God, and appreciate Him for every result, no matter how minute or small the result might look.

  • Ascribe the glory of your success to God.
ACKNOWLEDGE Him and tell Him that He is the One who has performed the miracles, and let people know that HE is the reason for your success: “Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion! DECLARE HIS DEEDS AMONG THE PEOPLE" (Psalm 9:11).

• You cannot but have a reason to praise God if you walked with Him as you ought to.

  • In walking with God, you experience His amazements and surprises EVERY minute, hour, and day.
  • God is awesome and greatly to be praised.
  • God’s deeds should be declared among the people: "THAT I MAY TELL OF ALL YOUR PRAISE IN THE GATES OF THE DAUGHTER OF ZION. I will rejoice in Your salvation. I will rejoice in Your salvation" (Psalm 9:14).
NOTE: Testimonies of God’s deeds stimulate faith in other people.
  • The testimony given will reproduce its kind.
WHEN you give a testimony of what God has done, it provokes Him to do more.

• God avenges for His elects, particularly those who are humble: "When He avenges blood, He remembers them; HE DOES NOT FORGET THE CRY OF THE HUMBLE [afflicted]" (Psalm 9:12).

  • God listens to the cry of the humble: "Have mercy on me, O LORD! Consider my trouble from those who hate me, YOU WHO LIFT ME UP FROM THE GATES OF DEATH" (Psalm 9:13).
  • Then YOUR love for the truth makes you humble.
YOUR level of humility determines your depth in God.
NOTE: “God resists the proud, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE” (James 4:6).

• If God has not been on our side!

  1. “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say—
  2. “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us,
  3. Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us;
  4. Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;
  5. Then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul.”
    Psalm 124:1-5 (NKJV)

• The conclusive part of the above quoted Psalm 124 says:

  1. “Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.
  2. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped.
  3. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.”
    Psalm 124:6-8 (NKJV)

• The wicked one has prepared snares to trap us in, but God did deliver us.

  • If you walk in the Spirit, obey the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will escape the snares of the fowlers (Romans 8:14).
THE fowlers are the enemies: the devil, his demons, and the humans who are loyal to him—the devil.
NOT ONLY that God will cause you to escape, their snares shall be broken and destroyed.
NOTE: There are snares in Life and the Ministry work.
  • When you follow God’s leading you will not be a victim of evil.
  • You will not be a prey in the hands of the devil, when you learn to walk in obedience to God’s instructions.
  • The danger in the work of Ministry is when you turn your back against God’s Word and the instructions given you by Him.
  • Thus you should always declare God’s goodness in your Life and ministry.
  • The Testimonies of what God has done strengthens other people’s faith.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
