  1. "WHO THEN IS A FAITHFUL AND WISE SERVANT, who his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season [at the right time]?
  2. "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
  3. "ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU THAT HE WILL MAKE HIM RULER OVER ALL HIS GOODS."
    Matthew 24:45-47 (NKJV)

• If God has made you a spiritual leader, a church worker—you should be diligent and faithful in the work.

"Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful."
1 Corinthians 4:2 (NKJV)

  • Your faithfulness in the little assignment given to you, qualifies you for the greater one (Matthew 25:21).
  • God rewards faithfulness, not the bigness or the size of the work; thus whatever you have a privilege to do in the vineyard of the Lord, whether small or big, do it with all your heart.
  • One of the servants who were given talents to trade within the parable of the talents, the one with one talent: he did bury the talent because he had lazy mindset, attitude, he thought what he would do with the one talent (Matthew 25:24-27).
  • Whatever gift you are given to trade within the vineyard of the Lord, do not bury it; use it to the fullest and do the work with enthusiasm (Matthew 25:18,25).
  • You should not do the work with levity, lack of respect—whereby you murmur (1 Corinthians 10:10).
  • Do the work willingly not as being forced (1 Peter 5:2).
  • Whatever you are doing in your local Church or any gathering of the people of God, you should not see it or do it as if you are helping your Pastor or the leadership of fellowship, you are doing it for the Lord.
GOD will reward you according to the intent of your heart—the motives with which you do the work.
DO the work with enthusiasm, not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God (1 Peter 5:2).
  • You are not called to boss the people under you, but to lead them by your good examples—you set a pattern of integrity for the people under your leadership.

"nor as being lords [masters] over those entrusted to you, but being example to the flock."
1 Peter 5:3 (NKJV)

• God's attitudes are spelt out on the pages of the Scripture as regards the work and the gifts or abilities in believers lives: He wants believers to trade with whatever He has given to them and be faithful in the assignment, for God is profits conscious (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 13:6,7; 19:12-26; John 15:2,16).

  1. "He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.
  2. "Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit 🤔 on this fig tree 🌲 and found none. CUT IT DOWN; WHY DOES IT USE UP THE GROUND?'
    Luke 13:6,7 (NKJV)

• Put your gifts to work and be faithful in whatever capacity you have the privilege to serve.
THERE is a reward for those who do the work assigned to them faithfully.

"and when the Chief Shepherd appears, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE CROWN OF GLORY THAT DOES NOT FADE AWAY."
1 Peter 5:4 (NKJV)

"And say to Archippus, "TAKE HEED TO THE MINISTRY WHICH YOU HAVE RECEIVED IN THE LORD, that you may fulfil it."
Colossians 4:17 (NKJV)

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
Peace!
