In a simple definition, disappointment is sadness brought about by neglected assumptions. In spite of the fact that it is disheartening when an individual's expectations are not met, it is much more heinous when the disappointment experienced is of a definitive or irreversible type. encountering a definitive disappointment.

For instance, it very well may be disappointing for somebody to miss a train or bus however significantly more disappointing if the missed train or bus happens to be the one for the day. It simply means such an individual is abandoned. Our Lord Jesus Christ advice His Church to do a few things that would keep us from experience the ultimate disappointment.

He gave us this direction in light of the fact that, as indicated by His promise, the Church is at last expected to be with her Lord in eternity.

It would in this way be a huge disappointment, a final one for that is matter, if He returns and what we hear from Him is the word written in Luke 13:27b:

This won't be your portion in Jesus' Name. For the word written therein not to be your portion, you must take some particular precautions. Firstly, you must endeavor to enter through the narrow gate.

This isn't an easy experience, and fortunately, the Lord Jesus Christ has notified us about this. He cautioned us that many will not have the option to enter through this gate because of persecution, the cares of this world.

The Lord Jesus Christ also said that the individuals who will experience a final disappointment will be amazed at His decision on them because their expectation would be His commendation, because of their closeness to the altar of God and the abundance of their activities in Church.

What a bad frustration this would be! In order not to be included in the number of the people who will experience this final dissatisfaction, let us watch and pray, and let us look at ourselves to check whether we are really in the faith.
