There is victory in holiness and when the eyes of a Christian are opened to this revelation, the person would start to live righteously. Proverbs 14:34 speak about two truth while righteousness exalts a nation, iniquity or unrighteousness brings reproach that comes in the form of conquer to a people.

Heaven and earth will pass away but the word of the Lord shall remain forever and some believers claim that it is not possible to live holy. The fact that you aren't living holy doesn't mean it is not possible to do so.

A fellow is either holy or sinful, there is no in-between. According to the word of God, no sinner will make it to heaven. For this reason, the Lord Jesus came to destroy the works of Satan in our lives and therefore, you are righteous by grace.

This grace of God is what removes boasting in the light of the fact that it is not you but Christ in you. This doesn't make us deny that the Almighty God helps people to live holy. Pray seriously for the grace to live holy because of the blessings that come with living holy.

Daniel was victorious over all his foes; they perished in his place because of his life of holiness!

Even though we're Christians we still sin. As John said,

(1 John 1:8-9 NIV) If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. {9} If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The Bible refers to us as blameless.

(Ephesians 1:2-6 NIV) Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. {3} Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. {4} For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love {5} he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will-- {6} to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
