In Christianity, revival literally means increased spiritual hunger or renewal in the midst of believers. What occurs when revival comes? According to Psalms 85:4-7, people stay away from their evil when revival comes. Salvation becomes a commodity for everyone and the anger of the Lord ceases to burn against the people.
One amazing thing about Almighty God concerning sinners is that He would constantly warn them of the consequences of a sinful life so they may repent and escape His coming judgment.
Another thing that occurs when revival comes is that the Lord answers the prayers of sinners contrary to what some people think that He does not. However, it is the prayer of repentance from a sinner that the Almighty God answers before any other. Revival brings about total restoration in ramification.
The real sign of revival is a true departure from an evil way of life, both publicly and even when we are in our closet and this is contrary to what we experience in the present Church when people claim to be a believer but still maintain their sinful way of life.
Revival actually means large numbers of people getting saved and showing that in their lives.
