DIVINE ESCAPE
Text: “And Saul cast the spear, for he said, “I pin David to the wall” But David escaped...” 1 Sam 18:11
The purpose of this teaching is not just to inform you but to impart you to walk in the reality of every insight. David had killed Goliath and he gained recognition, access and acceptance. It was a major victory for Israel. One would have thought this was the end of battles for David. This was actually the beginning of battles for him. In our journey into destiny battles will show up once and again. Every level we attain in life will usher us into higher levels of challenges.
The victory of David over Goliath gave him access into the palace but also introduced another envy he never had before. There is no guarantee anywhere in scripture that you will never face any challenge.
If you are going to walk in the possibility of divine escape take note of the following. You must be in your God assigned place of assignment. Your God assigned place is a place of security. Life is vulnerable and exposed when you are out of your God given place. The traps of the hunter will easily get the bird when it wonders away from its place. Prov 27:8
David had a consciousness of the secret place of divine security. The consciousness of divine presence is our guarantee of divine escape. David was conscious of divine presence. It was something he spoke about and bragged about. God’s presence must be consciously and consistently acknowledged and engaged for divine escape.
David was aware that King Saul was after his life but it was obvious he wasn’t necessarily announcing it everywhere. He was still conscious that carnal weapons will not produce the desired victory. His understanding of spiritual warfare was intact. David understood the power of praise and prayer (Psalm 34:1-2). In every battle of life no matter the pattern it assumes spiritual weapons will always work.
CONFESSION:
The snare is broken. My soul has escaped from the snare of the fowler.

David's amazing story is such a lamp for the feet, to this day. I needed to hear it in the way you put it. Each line was a pearl of spiritual wisdom elegantly condensed. You made my day.
