TAKING OPPORTUNITIES
Text: “And they said unto him, we have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretation belong to God? Tell me them, I pray you.” Gen 40:8
Most of the time life unfolds for us in the form of small opportunities that comes our way on a daily basis. If you are the type that has your eyes on very big miracles in life you will miss out on your best moments in life. Even as we expect the big miracles we must take note of the opportunities that God brings our way on a daily basis. One lesson I have learned about life is that when a little door open for you today don’t take it for granted. It may look like just a little opening; but behind it may be several larger doors. Every little door that opens today will lead to bigger doors tomorrow. One customer that you treat right in your shop may invite several other customers that will link you up to several other customers.
We need to have the eyes of our hearts flooded with light so that we can take advantage of such opportunities in life. About Nine years ago I saw an opportunity to write and share the articles with my Church members. It was such a blessing to so many of them. Thank God I took that opportunity. Now that little opportunity is growing daily. Here we are in 2021 and several thousands of people have been blessed by this. As you are reading this several other thousands of people are also reading it on their phones or in the book form.
Don’t wait for the conditions to be completely right. Take advantage of the opportunities you have today. Joseph had the privilege of interpreting dreams for the servants he met in the prison. He took advantage of that little opportunity and over two years later that opportunity opened a greater door of the throne to him. The opportunities of today may look very small but don’t despise it.
PRAYER:
Lord I declare that my eyes are clearly open to the opportunities around my life today. I receive grace to take advantage of the opportunities of today..
