others users told me that there is examples of other communities where the winners of the contests are always the same, without taking into account great works presented by other users

That's utterly right and I know several instances. When I had time I'm going into this matter deeply.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
