Learning Journey 4

Having an idea for creating a community is one thing and building a community is another.
In this post, I would be sharing my learnings on building a community on Steemit.

Earlier I was of the perception I will write a welcome post and all those who would be interested in the idea will join the community and that's it.

But things didn't turn out in that manner.

If you want the post to be read by maximum people, it has to in the trending category and for that, it has to have a good upvote.

So the next thing is; how to get upvotes?

If the post is interesting and liked by the audience, it will surely get upvotes. But, if you are new and don't have much of the following, it is difficult to get the initial attention.

Now, back to the community building part. to run a community or otherwise also, it is very important to know about curation rewards works in depth. Therefore I have spent time understanding the know-how of things. I came to know about the voting mana and also about the reward distribution process.

I also came across the concept of delegation. There is a specific website dlease.io where we can get the delegation.

There is another way to receive a delegation by reaching out to the people who can support the content in your community. Looking forward to the support.

Till now, I have understood this much, this is my ongoing learning experience. If you are also learning something new, do share in the community.
Let's make this community the hub of "Ongoing Learning Journeys"
