Greetings friends of Steemit and Venezolanos Steem

The supreme court of India has legalized passive Euthanasia.

What is the difference between active and passive Euthanasia and the living will.

Court confirmed right to die with dignity is a fundamental right.

Euthanasia is when a terminally ill patient wants to end their life. Passive Euthanasia is when you let a patient die, a patient who is on complete life support or in vegetative state and can't live without medical treatment.

What a terminally ill patient do is that he can write a will which says that when you reach an irreversible stage where you are only alive because of medical support you want the doctor to pull the plug and let one die.

Care giving fatigue so exhausted are the young in Japan that they are killing their parents. A new study every 8 days an average of one elderly person is killed by a family in the decade to 2021 and leter the killer commit suicide

From the Netherlands the story of a 28-year-old woman called Zorah Terik, she has chosen euthanasia the act of dying with medical help of course it's not new so why is this case grabbing headlines it's because Zorah Terik has decided to end her life due to crippling mental health problems she suffers from depression autism and borderline personality disorder she has sought help for it all her life.

Choice has sparked a lot of outrage some call it a worrying trend. They say euthanasia was long seen as the last resort but increasingly it's becoming a viable option for patients they are giving up more easily and opting for it not every country allows euthanasia for mental illness but countries like the Netherlands and Belgium do many believe this encourages suicide. Others also blame Healthcare professionals they say with the option of euthanasia they're giving up on critical patients more easily than before take the Netherlands for example.

In the last decade the number of euthanasia death has steadily risen in the country in 2022 it accounted for 5% of all deaths so it's clearly no longer the Last Resort. While Terik says that her life was never going to get any better the fear is that it enables and encourages more people to kill themselves legally.

@josepha thanks for the support.

Thank you for visiting my post and supportive response.
