Hello steemians friends

How are you all, I hope you are always healthy and always in the protection of the Lord of Nature, amen, all steemians friends, on this occasion I will take part in the Steemit Engagement Challenge -S16 W1 in the @venezuelasteem community with a very interesting title, namely "SEC-S16/ W1 | Tradiciones culturales "Just get on with it, steemians friends.

Stories about Culture and Traditions in my area

I will tell you about the traditions or culture that exist in our area, one of the traditions in our area that we carry out every year include: Maulid, condolences for the dead, holding an event near the cemetery once a year in general, having a meal when going to rice fields, seven months, the Prophet's circumcision, and many others.

So the first is Maulid

IMG-20231111-WA0058.jpg

This Maulid is held in the 12th month of Rabiul Awal in the Hijriah year, so this is the month of Hijriyah, not AD, like January, or something else. So Maulid is from 12 Rabiul Awal to 3 months to 4th, but the most festive is on 12 Rabiul Awal, because on that date our leader or our prophet was born, our kadi as Muslims celebrate his birthday.

The second is Takziah

IMG20240128200810.jpg

this Takziah is carried out when someone dies in the village, so there is no specific date, because we don't know when we will die. This pilgrimage begins at night around 7 o'clock after the evening prayer or after the insha prayer. This pilgrimage lasts for 7 nights. And the village people will come to the funeral home for condolences, the purpose of the condolences is to comfort the bereaved family and send rewards or gifts to the bereaved through the remembrance performed by the villagers.

The third is an event near a public cemetery, this can be done a week before the Ramadan fast, the event is cooking and eating together and praying for people who have passed away. And after that there is a tradition of going to the rice fields, when you want to go to the rice fields to farm, in our village or a meal together in the middle of the rice fields, when the event takes place, people will come to the rice fields that are being held for the event, after that they pray there so that the rice plants will be good later and after that we will eat together there.

Lastly there is the Sunnah of the Apostle

IMG20220327125245-01.jpeg

This Sunnat Rasul is a tradition in our area which takes the form of a party for boys who want to have their genitals cleaned or cut to make them pure. So when the boy comes out he will hold an event at his house like a wedding, only the bride and groom are the children who want to be circumcised themselves. But for families who can't afford a big event, just keep the event small. So it's not burdensome. Be it the culture or traditions in our village.

I personally really like all the traditions above, because with these events, it is easier for us to socialize with the community and it is more harmonious in the village. And I personally am often involved in the things or events above. Because apart from being social, we will also get free food.

OK, that's enough discussion about the challenge, hopefully it can be understood easily and can also get a lot of support from steemians friends all over the world. Oh yes, I want to invite my steemit friends named @karianaporras @pennsif @pelon53, to participate in this challenge, and wish me luck.

Thank you very much for visiting my post this time to those who visit. see you again in the next post,
Greetings from me @mulkanalvaro

Hello my friend, The tradition of Takziah in the village is a deeply meaningful way to support those who have lost a loved one. Since death can come unexpectedly, there's no fixed date for this pilgrimage, highlighting the importance of being prepared for such moments. Starting at night, after the evening or insha prayers, the community gathers to offer condolences. This seven night pilgrimage shows the commitment of the villagers to stand by the bereaved family during their time of grief. Great post mate, keep it up 👍👍
