Hello friends!!

The subject of euthanasia is a very dicy one. We definitely know that the idea for this practice is to reduce prolong suffering but with regards to our faith in God, I think that euthanasia is not the solution.

As a Christian, I believe in God and I believe that God is the only one authorized to take a life. We didn't give ourselves life so why take the life given to you without the consent of the one who gave the life.

I still believe in the healing power of God. And euthanasia cancels the opportunity for God to step in and heal the people or person in question. I have actually witnessed a situation where the doctors gave up on a patient because of how severe the case was..at the moment when they decided to remove the oxygen from the patient, the mum refused and insisted that her daughter be given a chance .

She kept coming to the hospital to pray and spend time with her sick daughter, after a while she took her daughter home and continued to minister healing on her. After two months her daughter recovered.

I saw a video last month where a Pastor shared a testimony of what happened at his wife's orphanage home. He said one morning they wake up and found a baby left at the door of the orphanage, that baby was literally curved like the shape of a shopping basket. They took they child in not knowing what to do. He said every morning, his wife would bring out the baby and pray for her with some group of women.

The baby kept growing and was curving, she was blind, deaf and could not walk. They didn't give up. They kept praying and speaking words of faith to her. He said one day at the orphanage, they heard a shout, coming from the room. As the rushed in, it was this girl stretching, the pastor said she stretched out from the curve and began to walk properly, not only that, she began to talk and see. What a miracle!

Now imagine if they had performed euthanasia on her? It's true that the little girl was going through pain, it's true she had a lot of sickness but today it's all a story. She would not have lived to tell her story. This is why I say according to my faith in God, euthanasia is not the solution, the solution is your faith in God, that he is able to heal or deliver you. The Bible said we should cast our cares on the lord, why? Because he cares for us.

I am from Nigeria, and I would not like euthanasia to be legal in my country. Because it cancels the place of faith. It will only make many see that God can no longer heal them and that God doesn't care. God is actually not happy to see his children suffer. Tell me which father is happy when his kids are suffering? Euthanasia in my opinion is man's idea not Gods way of doing things.

Well I have not thought of euthanasia been the option in the case of terminal illness or other types of suffering. But because everyone has freedom to decide what they want to do with their lives, so if anyone feels that euthanasia is best option for terminal illness then they should go ahead, but for me I think we should give place for God. Then if it doesn't work, I give place for him again and again.

These are my option on this subject this week. Thank you. I would invite @@@arinaz08 @joan-na
