What does it take to develop a new sort of digital photography art?

I spent the whole year of 2019 producing digital art using images I took while traveling across South Africa, primarily in the Western Cape. I created 52 artworks in which I substituted conventional skies with colorful striated skies. This is something I came up with within 2018

and haven't found anywhere else on the Internet.
I joined 500px to post my work in order to gain feedback on what the market thinks of it. Do you think what I'm doing is artistic? Would you put one of these up in your house? True, everyone can produce; in fact, anyone could probably build wonderful Striated Skies. If this is the case, it would be an excellent compliment. Please share your opinions and assist me in comprehending what is achievable for me!
