Types of Butterflies with Eyes on Wings | How many Eyes Does a Butterfly have?

Butterflies are invariably having a couple of compound eyes ( an eye as of a butterfly ) made up of innumerable independent optical segments.

Butterflies are having three senses, first one is "taste", second one "smell" and the third one "touch". Butterflies' taste-receptors can be detected on all of their six feet. More accurately, butterflies use chemo-receptors on the tarsi to locate distinguishable alchemical by the time they are landing on blossoms and vegetation. Butterflies always make it sure that the eggs they brew precisely on the right source of food.

Butterflies don't have poison within their body in order to terminate humans and beasts. On the contrary there is an African moth whose larva's juice is fatal. The N'gwa or 'Kaa caterpillar's entrails are being utilized by local primitive to poison the point of their shafts. An antelope-dear can be easily terminated by a single shot of these poisoned shafts.

The following are the names of the animals that kill and eat butterflies: wasp, ant, parasitic fly, bird, snake, toad, rat, lizard, dragonfly, monkey etc. Some other creatures which also frequently feed on butterflies are frog, spider etc.
