Ananas comosus, Bromeliaceae - Tropical Pineapple, belongs to the Bromeliad family, it is a totally terrestrial, tropical bromeliad, it can be planted in any type of soil, as long as they are not very humid. This type of bromeliad is of very varied colors and they are ornamental. It is said that its origin is from South America between Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Venezuela, and from there it spread to Europe, Asia and Africa. Bromeliad has medicinal properties, is a diuretic par excellence, helps digest food, detoxifies, antacid, helps in pharyngitis, cystitis, etc.
