Cacti of the Genus Echinopsis are perennial plants that belong to the cactus family and there are more than 170 species.
They are native to South America, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay. They are very widespread, ranging from small globose cacti to arboreal cacti.
